On Saturday, February 10, from noon to 1:30 p.m., we’re celebrating Valentine’s Day a little early at Wine Snob* with NorCalBats, an organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of bats throughout Northern California. They’ll be sharing information about the environmental benefits of bats and discussing the fears and myths surrounding these cool creatures. Live bats of California native species will be presented for viewing and discussion. The bats are certified as non-releasable by the California Department of Fish & Wildlife because injury precludes them from surviving in the wild. Tickets are $25 ($15 for club members and their guests) and include a glass of wine of your choice during the presentation.
